Brogghil Valley is a high-altitude valley located in the Chitral District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It is located in the northern part of the country, close to the border with Afghanistan. The valley is situated at an elevation of around 3,000 meters (9,843 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by the Hindu Kush mountain range.
The valley is home to several small villages, including
Yarkhun and Darkot, which are inhabited by people of the Kalash tribe. The
Kalash is a minority group known for their unique culture, language, and
traditions. They are known for their colorful dresses, traditional music and
dance, and their animist beliefs. The valley is known for its natural beauty,
with snow-capped peaks, crystal clear streams, and lush green forests. The area
is a popular destination for trekkers and hikers, who come to explore the
rugged terrain and enjoy the stunning views. The valley is also home to a
number of wildlife species, including ibex, snow leopards, and markhor, which
are native to the region.
